Coquille Service Station ROAD 8ERVICE Coquille Junior High Notes *-■ Farming Picture Viewed At the assembly on Monday, De cember 13th, a very interesting and was instructive moving picture shown, which displayed modern farm equipment, particularly in re lation to orchards. Due to the fact that the high school auditorium was not available, the picture was shown in the junior high building. 8y Present Assembly Program Monday, December 20, a Christmas assembly program was given by the 8y home room. Between, numbers, the whole assembly joined in singing some of the old familiar Christmas carols. Although they were defeated 14 to 4, they put up a good fight and with a little more experi ence should come out on the large end of the score. • Those marking up playing minutes to their credit'in this game were: B. After the meeting, a social time was en joyed with light refreshments served by the Bethel Guardian, Mrs. C. A. Rietman. The house was beautifully decorated with all sorts of Yuletide trimmings and a large Christmas tree. Crazy bridge and Coqfie were played. The Contract club’ of the younger married ladies met at the home of Mrs. H. R. Godard last Friday for one-thirty o’clock dessert luncheon. The table looked lovely with a cen terpiece of fruit and cedar, flanked by red tapers. Individual fruit cakes, wrapped' in cellophane, were favors at each plate. A large Christmas tree looked most attractive in one corner of the room. Following lunch eon, Santa Claus put in an appear ance with gifts for all. Contract bridge was then enjoyed by the members, Mrs. J. D. Gillespie being the lucky winner of high score. The ladies were glad to welcome Mrs. Oderkirk back after a few weeks* absence.
